Tiger Woods Odds Favorite to Win Accenture Match Play Championship: This week, Tiger Woods returns to golf after an eight-month layoff due to knee surgery, and already bookies have made him the odds favorite to win the 2009 Accenture Match Play Championship.

According to Sports Odds posted by odds-makers at BodogLife.com, Tiger Woods is a 5:1 favorite from an entire field of players, which include Phil Mickelson [14:1], Sergio Garcia [16:1], and many more.

It was last week that Woods broke the news on his Web site, “I'm now ready to play again,” Woods stated.

The 2009 Accenture Match Play Championship tees off on Wednesday from Tucson, AZ, where Tiger will be defending his title. Henrik Stenson [18:1], Geoff Ogilvy [20:1] and Anthony Kim [20:1] are also among the favorites to win the 2009 Accenture Match Play Championship.

The last time we saw Tiger on the field, he was draining a par putt on the 91st hole of the U.S. Open at Torrey Pines, when he defeated Rocco Mediate in a playoff. The win marked Woods’ 14th major, a win he described as "probably the best ever" considering the circumstances.

Adam Scott [25:1]

Padraig Harrington [25:1]

Camilo Villegas [28:1]

Robert Karlsson [33:1]
